Chappell Roan is about to drop another banger — and fans are losing it.
On Tuesday, July 22, an obscure poster of the pop star was spotted appended on a lamppost in New York, bearing the cryptic text:
“Going through a breakup? Get bangs!”
In the image, Chappell Roan wears a thick eyeliner and dark brown eyeshadow that yellowed on the edges, paired with ultra-thin brows — a clear reminiscent of 90s makeup trend. A couple of mice cling to her silky red-brown hair, along with a cigarette stick and a bread clip tucked in her strands.
But one detail immediately caught onlookers’ attention: the top of her head was missing.
Only the fringes of the Guilty Pleasure singer are visible in the viral photograph, with the upper portion cut off, prompting fans to speculate and eagerly anticipate her forthcoming return to the music scene.
One fan @VaneDuaTuna reacted to the poster: “Flyer looks really cool!”
The promotional poster follows another mysterious teaser, released two days prior — a black-and-white flyer featuring the songstress in a wig that conceals most of her face, leaving only her eyes visible.
It was also accompanied by a cryptic message:
“Attention!! LOST WIG. Last seen at Court St Station.”
Chappell Roan's fans are losing their minds over her intriguing poster: “She’s coming for another hit”

Meanwhile, the promotional poster is for Chappell Roan’s The Subway, an unreleased track off her speculated sophomore album. She first performed the song at the Governor’s Ball Music in June 2024.
Later on, at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, she mentioned feeling indecisive about releasing the track.
In an exclusive interview with the Rolling Stone, Chappell Roan revealed that The Subway wouldn’t be released as her second single.
“I just like performing it. I have two others that I really want to perform, too, [but] I don’t know what’s next. When I don’t know, it just hasn’t hit me yet because usually I know. I always have an answer. I don’t think it’s ‘Subway.’”
In March 2025, she released The Giver instead.
