According to The Mirror, the late rapper boasted 6.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with some of his most famous songs being Scarface, Solitaire, Laboratoire, Chemin d'or, and Ciao featuring Ninho. He also boasted the best-selling record in France in 2023, with his album Carre. The following year, his Pyramide album was also a massive hit.

As per The Daily Record, he was supposed to perform tonight. The event description reads as follows:

"French rap's number one, Werenoi, is coming to the Azar Club in Lyon for an exclusive showcase on Saturday, May 17th.
