From BTS’ J-Hope to SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, here is a list of all the K-Celebs who showed up to support BLACKPINK on their DEADLINE tour.
K-pop girl band BLACKPINK kicked off their DEADLINE world tour in Seoul on July 5. On the 2nd night of their Seoul shows, which took place at the Goyang studio, almost the entire entertainment industry of South Korea showed up to support the girls on their comeback.
From chart-topping K-pop idols to A-list K-drama actors, everybody wanted to experience the thrill of the pink army. Blinks caught glimpses of celebrities from all over the industry, making the concert even more exciting. Fans also commended the united spirit of the industry as friends and peers came to show up in support of the girls.
As per reports, SEVENTEEN members Mingyu, The8, and Jeonghan made an appearance at the concert. J-Hope from BTS was reportedly unmissable during his entrance. Their YG sister group, BABYMONSTER, also came to support their Eonnies (older sisters), along with other YG entertainment artists, including Kang Seungyoon of WINNER, as well as the boy band TREASURE.
Jisoo was arguably responsible for bringing to the audience her Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint co-star, and one of the biggest Kdrama actors, Lee Minho, who came to support her. Her Snowdrop family was also in attendance; however, it wasn't the first time actor Jung Hae In had come to support Jisoo, as he also had attended the Born Pink tour that went on from October 2022 to September 2023.
While one of Rosé's best friends, actress Lee Hye Ri, was also spotted in the audience along with actress and model Jung Ho-yeon, who shares a friendly relationship with both Jisoo and Jennie.
Besides them, LESSERAFIM, Minnie from IDLE, Seulgi from RED VELVET, and Irene, alongside TWICE’s Nayeon and Jihyo, and Starship group IVE, were also reported to have attended the concert.
BLACKPINK DEADLINE tour: details
The DEADLINE tour marks the BLACKPINK's first tour comeback since their 2022 Born Pink tour. It also marks the third worldwide concert tour and the fourth overall tour for the girl band.
The tour kicked off with a bang on the first show, during which BLACKPINK debuted a new unreleased track. The "Shut Down" singers performed their new song "JUMP" 24 hours after teasing it on their official social media account. They performed the song with a power-packed choreography, while making it their first release since their second full album, Born Pink, dropped in September 2022, and The Girls in 2023.
DEADLINE is announced to be a global tour, starting from their home country, South Korea, and spanning 31 shows across 16 cities, including Tokyo, New York, Paris, Milan, and more. BLACKPINK heads off to Los Angeles as the next stop on their tour, wrapping it up in Hong Kong in January next year.
