Pop superstar Pink has reassured fans that she’s on the mend after a recent health scare involving E. coli during a getaway.

On Aug. 31, the “Raise Your Glass” singer shared a photo on Instagram showing her smiling, holding a glass of wine, and surrounded by friends in a cozy setting.

The image was accompanied by a candid caption about her unexpected brush with illness. In bold white text, she wrote:

"This is all normal and everything is going well."

She went on:

“When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine, and a vitamin IV concoction.”

The "Get The Party Started" songstress, known for her powerhouse vocals, didn’t let the situation dampen her spirits. Instead, she leaned into her signature humor, framing the episode as another story to laugh about later.

Keeping her trademark wit intact, Pink captioned her post with:

“Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember."

E. coli, short for Escherichia coli, is a bacterium that naturally lives in the human gut. Most strains are harmless, but certain ones can lead to severe illness, including foodborne infections that cause diarrhea and, in some cases, serious complications.

According to Health Direct, harmful strains are often transmitted through contaminated food or water.

The issue made headlines when one widely reported case last year detailed that at least 75 people fell ill after consuming food linked to McDonald’s restaurants. Over 20 were hospitalized, and one death was reported from the outbreak.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) later confirmed that many of those affected mentioned eating a Quarter Pounder hamburger before becoming sick.

Not her first health-related delay: Pink has previously postponed shows due to illness

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Pink has given an update on her health.

In 2023, the "Just Give Me A Reason" hitmaker had a respiratory infection, which forced changes to her Summer Carnival world tour schedule. She announced on X (Twitter):

“Vancouver shows postponed. Sending everyone lots of love and my sincere apologies xoxo."

She informed fans that she would be “unable to perform at the Vancouver shows on Friday and Saturday," adding:

“Live Nation is working on new dates to reschedule the shows."

Before this, Pink also announced the postponement of one of her shows due to "family medical issues."

She took to Instagram with her message in an image, saying:

"Tacoma shows postponed: I am sorry to inform that Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed."

She captioned her post with:

"I send my sincerest apologies, love and health to all."
