Halsey is set to kick off her Back to Badlands Tour on October 14 in Los Angeles to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album, Badlands (2015). This comes after the singer shared a recent health update with fans where she revealed that she is undergoing chemotherapy for a rare disorder while preparing for her tour.
The singer posted a TikTok video on September 25 where she explained,
"Just coming on here to give you guys a speed round of updates. Just did another few sessions of chemo, had a new port placed. We just put the Back to Badlands show together, and it's gonna be unbelievable, so amazing."
In 2024, Halsey publicly announced that she had been diagnosed with lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder back in 2022.

While speaking to Rolling Stone about her tour in an article published on September 26, Halsey noted that she worried she wouldn't be able to perform when she first got sick,
"It's all I ruminated on at the time, all the stuff that I wanted to do and might not get the chance to do. Badlands was definitely one of them. I was just like, I would have loved to have made the 'Drive' video. I would have loved to have done an anniversary tour."
Halsey, in another TikTok update, also opened up about a conversation she had with her fiancé, Avan Jogia, where Avan reportedly pointed at the Hollywood Forever cemetery and said that the singer will "be in there soon" for the first show of her tour.
