Travis Scott and Pusha T are two popular names in hip-hop. Recently, there has been buzz online about a possible feud between them. The talk started after Pusha T released a track called “So Be It,” where he takes shots at Travis Scott.
Soon after the song dropped, a post started going viral on X (formerly Twitter). It claimed that Travis Scott responded with the line,
“If he wants to see the boys jacking, he'll get the Jackboys, full force.”
Many fans believed this was real. But this post came from a parody account. There is no real proof that Travis responded to the diss. So far, no official response from Travis has been shared.
Pusha T’s diss in Travis Scott's So Be It: Details explored
In a recent interview with GQ, Pusha T explained why he dissed Travis on his new track, So Be It. The rapper pointed to Travis’s 2023 track Meltdown as the key reason.
According to Pusha, the title Meltdown was taken from Drake’s guest verse on the song, where Drake rapped:
“I melt down the chains that I bought from yo' boss/ Give a f*ck about all of that heritage s*it"
In this verse, Drake was referring to pieces of Pharrell Williams' jewelry that he purchased through a Joopiter auction in 2023.
Pusha T noted that Pharrell contributed to Travis' album, Utopia. Pharrell is credited as both a producer and co-writer on Meltdown.
Pusha also shared an incident that sparked his anger toward Travis Scott. He explained that Travis came to Pharrell’s studio at the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, where Pusha and his brother Malice were also present.
Pusha said that Travis insisted on playing Meltdown for Pharrell. However, when he played the track, Travis did not include Drake’s verse that dissed Pharrell.
Addressing Travis’s behavior, Pusha T told GQ:
“He’s done this a lot. He has no picks. He’ll do this with anybody. He did it with ‘Sicko Mode.’”
According to Pusha T, this act of "neutrality" and lack of loyalty was the main reason for his diss in So Be It.
Pusha T did diss Travis Scott in his song So Be It. This is confirmed by Pusha himself. A post claiming that Scott fired back with the line, “If he wants to see the boys jacking, he'll get the Jackboys, full force,” has gone viral. But this post came from a parody account and is not true.
Scott has not officially responded to Pusha T’s diss. There is no real statement or song from him addressing the situation.
