A video of Jay-Z riding his bike on the streets of the Hamptons with no security in sight is going viral.
In the video, which has since raked in close to 10K views, the legendary Grammy-winning rapper can be seen cycling around with no bodyguards around him. Clad in an all-black ensemble and matching shades, he looks shocked at the sight of the fan recording him.
Netizens have since begun reacting to the video in jest, such as this one user who jokingly suggested that Jay-Z will never go cycling there again:
"He’ll never ride on that street again"
See how the rest of X is reacting:
"He out there RAW? With no protection? I take back all of my late night stoner rantings. Bey definitely be outside," one user quipped.
"Hov be doing the most normal stuff," another jokingly pointed out.
"It seems weird seeing him on a bike," someone opined.
"They scared him bro," another hilariously said of the cameraman.
Even more chimed in with remarks:
"Security gone drop from the trees," one user hilariously suggested.
"IDK why this is hilarious to me. It's always funny when Jayz does normal people things," another shared.
"You know how rich that neighborhood is for him to just be riding his bike alone like that," yet another remarked.
Users could not help but laugh at how seemingly mundane it is for an A-list celebrity to be cycling around without being flanked by a fleet of security cars.
Jay-Z's alleged illegitimate son withdraws his lawsuit against the rapper: Read more
In other news, the years-long rumors of Jay-Z fathering an illegitimate son named Rymir Satterthwaite have seemingly come to an end as the latter withdrew his lawsuit. Rymir had alleged that the 99 Problems hitmaker is his father for years now, claiming that his late mother Wanda allegedly dated Hov in the '90s, when she was 16.
He filed a lawsuit against the rapper in May this year, seeking restitution for emotional distress, damage to his public standing, and lack of financial support, among other things. He claimed that his mother tried to prove that Jay-Z was his father for years until she died, and since then, he has continued to do the same.
While Jay-Z has long denied these allegations, he has reportedly alluded to Rymir not being his son in songs and other legal documents. However, despite his legal efforts ending, Rymir is committed to proving the truth.
As reported by Hot New Hip Hop, he recently hopped on a livestream to note that a lot is happening "behind the scenes," but his battle in court has yet to play out:
"I have not stopped my fight, I did withdraw my case, but it's for a reason [...] I have not gotten a settlement. It is not over," he said on his livestream on July 26.
