On May 5, 2025, South Korean media outlet Daum reported that BTS's Jin donated 100 million KRW to the Seoul Asan Medical Center Children's Hospital on Children's Day. As stated by the publication, BTS's Jin commented about his donation, expressing his concern for children fighting illnesses.
“My heart aches whenever I see children fighting illness, I decided to make a small donation in the hope that sick children will quickly regain their health and be able to play brightly." BTS’ Jin said.
The hospital revealed the BTS idol’s donation and also mentioned where they would use his donations. They said that they would employ Seokjin’s donation in improving their medical services.
"Jin’s donation will be used to improve medical services and treatment environments for pediatric and adolescent patients.” - Seoul Asan Medical Centre stated.
