Rapper Young Thug has found himself in hot water after a clip of him allegedly snitching on musical artist Peewee Rosco resurfaced on social media. According to Complex, the speculated conversation leak between Thug and officials was from the YSL Rico Trial.

Music executive Wack 100 reacted to the news. As seen in a video posted on an X account (joebuddenclips/fanpage), Wack said what Thug did in the interrogation room was against the rules. He also said:

“He shouldn’t have did it. He said too much, did too much. There’s no explanation for that.”

Wack 100 went on:

“But I won’t disrespect his name cause you know, that’s my partner, man. You know what I am saying? That’s my partner. I ain’t going to even sit here and lie.”

The music executive hoped Young Thug would understand his point of view before suggesting that new rules of the street should be established. The first rule, he said, was that one could snitch on somebody if they snitched on them in the first place. Similarly, he then laid down the other rules and mentioned how some of them differed from the rules of the “Old Testament.”

Amidst the ongoing hue and cry about Young Thug snitching on Peewee Rosco, the rapper shared an X post on August 28, writing:

“They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?”

Thug shared another post that day, where he wrote:

“Stop trying to make me one of those boys death before dishonor this way kids.”

What was Peewee Rosco’s reaction to the Young Thug controversy?

Peewee Rosco also reacted to the claims. In a self-recorded video, he said Young Thug, also known as Jeffery Lamar Williams II, had no dirt on him and was as clear as Listerine and ivory soap. He said he has done his time, and what the rapper did was expected of anyone in the interrogation room.

Rosco added:

“He did what a taxpaying citizen do, a real street man. Kept it solid. Kept it overly real. So, you feel what I am saying? Really, try to pull me out of the whole.”

Rosco went on:

“When it come to the PR, now you all don’t remember when I was locked up. Now, let me just show you how the PRs and the internet selective politic, you know what I mean? We going to keep it real. I was locked up and Jeff was locked up. We went viral when they was like, ‘That’s the type of friend you want.’ He was like, ‘Man, Rosco ain’t told you all the damn thing.’”

Meanwhile, Wack 100 also spoke to DJ Akademiks about the Young Thug situation. Akademiks asked Wack about his opinions on whether he thought Thug snitched on Rosco, to which Wack explained how the process works during an interrogation, when a person gives information to law enforcement about someone else.

Akademiks suggested that Young Thug might have been unaware that whatever he was saying was not recorded, suggesting that the rapper was already locked up.
