Kanye West has once again made headlines for the wrong reasons. Recently, he has once again become embroiled in controversy when he called out rapper Dave Blunts.

Blunts is set to perform at the 2025 Rolling Loud Festival. However, reports suggest the rapper will not be performing his hit song, "Ladyboyz" at the music festival on Saturday, 15 March.

In a social media post, West criticized the festival organizers, alleging that they disallowed Blunts from performing the song due to its sensitive subject matter.

In a post, the rapper wrote:

"Dave Blunts gotta song that say ladyboy on it and Rolling Loud told him he can’t perform it. But he can perform everything that’s talking about guns."

The music festival set the record straight, stating that this decision was not made by the festival itself but rather David Blunt's team, who communicated the decision.

"His team told him that, not us."

David Blunts also posted a message on his Instagram to address this controversy. He said:

"When my team advised me not to perform My First Day Out The Hospital Song at Rolling Loud I immediately did some soul searching which is how I came to the decision to stop using slurs and vulgarity in my songs and take things more seriously the first step in that is to dress more seriously as you can see I have on glasses for a more distinguished look and unfortunately I wasn’t able to button up all of the buttons on my shirt so the top button will have to do what do you guys think is this a more serious look? And thank you Rolling Loud for still letting me perform even though my music is very vulgar ❤️ ❤️"

Kanya West previously performed at the 2024 Rolling Loud Festival, where he remained silent on stage, while pre-recorded music played throughout his set.

Kanye's teases new antisemitic music

Kanye West's antisemitic rhetoric is not something new. In the recent past, the rapper has made problematic statements, including expressing his admiration for Hitler, which sparked widespread outrage.

"This next album got that antisemitic sound. My new sound called antisemitic.” Kanye tweeted.

Kanye West is set to release an album, titled "Bully" later this year, which, according to reports, will allegedly feature what the "I wonder" singer calls antisemitic music. This marks his first album in four years, after "Donda" in 2021.

The album's title, however, is inspired by his son, Saint West. In a conversation with fellow rapper, Justin Lanboy, West recounted an incident where his son was involved in a fight with another student at his school. He remarked, "The other kid was weak”, implying that his son was engaged in bullying behavior, which ultimately influenced the album's name.
