On August 28, BTS members returned to South Korea after spending a long time in the US. The idols have been reportedly working on their comeback album, which is expected to drop in 2026. The members fled to the US on July 7, as Jungkook, Jimin, and SUGA were spotted at the airport.
Now, the return of the members has created buzz among fans online who are eagerly looking forward to new music from BTS. Consequently, fans swamped the internet with their anticipation for the band’s upcoming projects. One of them on X said:

While some fans said they can’t wait for the band’s new music and its global impact, others believed that their comeback album would be the album of the century.

Some claimed that the K-pop group had filmed something in the US, following which they came back to the US, while others suggested that the band returned to meet their producer, PDOGG.

BTS reunited in June 2025
The septet got back together in June this year after all the members of the group concluded their respective mandatory military duties in South Korea. Jin and J-hope completed their training in 2024. While Seokjin was released in June last year, Hobi was discharged in October following their enlistment in December 2022 and April 2023, respectively.
The remaining five members, notably V, Namjoon, Jungkook, Jimin, and SUGA, were released in June 2025. While Taehyung and Namjoon returned on June 10, Jimin and Jk were discharged on June 11. Agust D was the last one to finish his military service on June 21.
