Beyoncé has long made headlines for her custom stage outfits, but she seems to have outdone herself with her latest one.
The mom of three is currently on the road for her Cowboy Carter Tour. Beyoncé last hit the Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md., on July 7, where she sported an eye-catching Calvin Klein black and gold set, complete with matching knee-high boots.
People Magazine has reported that the ensemble, which she wore while performing "Bodyguard," was designed by creative director Veronica Leoni. It was the 35-time Grammy-winning songstress's first custom Calvin Klein moment, which featured a set of bralette and panties.
A rep for the brand told Page Six that the outfit, which also had the signature brand logo, came with a matching cape with 28,000 beads and sequins embroidered on it, and
"took 246 hours to complete - a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and modern elegance Calvin Klein is known for."
Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter outfits explored:
Beyoncé has been giving fans a fashion moment with each stop on her Cowboy Tour. Early on, she sported two custom Donatella Versace looks: a white fringe bodysuit riddled with crystals, and a ball gown that had Versace's barocco print. She wore these outfits on June 6 and June 7, respectively, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
"When you design something for the catwalk, it is one thing, but then when you see Beyoncé bring a look to life and make it move so incredible on the stage, that gives me the greatest pleasure. She is a goddess, one of the nicest people on the planet and a true superstar. I can see the clothes giving her confidence and I can see how she uses them to enhance the performance," Donatella Versace told People Magazine after the performance.
She also confirmed that the two outfits took a total of 1,100 hours to craft.
"When you see Beyoncé perform, you see every detail she has considered. She said on Saturday that she tried to make sure everyone felt as if they had a front row seat," she added. "When Versace holds a fashion show, we want people to feel the same too. I was truly humbled to have Beyoncé as my dear friend equally supporting me."
The global pop star's tour is now in its final weeks, though her Renaissance Tour also saw her sport a similar Southwestern theme. However, her color palette at the time was expansive. During this tour, she largely stuck to the patriotic colors of reds, whites, and blues, with the occasional gold as an accent.
During her pit stop in Paris, she had Miley Cyrus join her on stage, with both women sporting matching shiny looks for the performance. At her performance in Chicago, she went for her legendary "Crazy In Love" ensemble: a tank top and jean shorts, but she enveloped it in rhinestones.
Beyoncé kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour in April 2025, in Inglewood, California. She will wrap things up in Paradise, Nevada, on July 26.
