Lauryn Hill and her daughter, Selah Marley, made a rare appearance together at New York Fashion Week.

The eight-time Grammy winner, 50, and her daughter, 26, were among those seated at COS's Autumn/Winter 2025 show on Sunday, September 16. The show was held at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse located by the waterfront in Brooklyn.

Lauryn Hill welcomed her first son, Zion, with her ex, Rohan Marley, at the height of her career in 1997. At the time, she penned her debut solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, when she was pregnant with him. The album also includes an ode to him, "To Zion."

The "Doo Wop (That Thing)" songstress also shares four more kids Marley: Selah, sons Joshua, 23, and John, 22, and daughter Sarah, 17. She also welcomed another son named Micah in 2012, though the identity of his father remains under wraps.

Per People Magazine, the mother-daughter duo sported clothes from the brand's Autumn/Winter collection that debuted this year. Hill opted for a wool jacket, which she paired with a leather top. She had some simple pants on, and for accessories, she went with a belt, a red hat, and matching gloves.

As for Selah, whose grandfather is the late Bob Marley, she went with a navy blue jacket hanging low over her shoulders, and a canary yellow clutch with a feathery texture. Her shoes were in a similar hue, and she accessorized with chunky shades.

Alongside the Ex-Factor songstress, celebrities like Jodie Turner-Smith, Naomi Watts, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley were all present to witness the show. Per a press release from the clothing brand, this year's collection is

“a study in contrast, materiality and craftsmanship, captured through an evocative interplay of space and light.”

As for Lauryn Hill and Selah, they had another date at the Burberry Winter 2025 show in February this year. At the time, they donned clothes from the luxurious clothing brand, including Burberry plaid, massive headwear, and boots.

At the show, the pair spoke to Dazed for an interview that was later shared on TikTok. Lauryn Hill remarked that the pieces were “beautiful" and the collection was "lovely." When asked what her daughter's and her "favorite thing to do together" was, she said through a smile:

“This is one of them." Selah concurred: “That’s right. Dress up. Talking actually. We like to talk.”
