Late choreographer and DJ, Steven “tWitch” Boss, left the world in 2022. However, his daughter, Weslie Fowler, shared a heartfelt post on Father’s Day. She took to her Instagram story on June 15, 2025, where she posted two selfies of her and Boss, while writing:

“Happy Father's day to my guardian angel Forever your Ace. I miss you every day.”

The next story was a video of her dancing with Steven “tWitch” Boss. The post was captioned:

“Some day I’ll get to dance and smile with you again.”

Steven “tWitch” Boss was a father to three kids, two of whom he shares with Allison Holker. Weslie Fowler was born from Allison’s previous relationship, but Steven adopted her.

Their son, Maddox Laurel, was born in March 2016, while the couple welcomed their daughter, Zaia, in 2019. In 2023, Weslie shared an Instagram post where she remembered her father. She wrote:

“A year of missing you, but not a single day goes by without thinking of what you’ve given to the world. Your love, guidance, and wisdom continue to inspire me. Missing warm hugs, your wisdom, and the sound of your voice.”

She wrote that even though his absence continued to hurt, she found peace in the special memories they created. She saw him as her dad, her hero, her closest friend, and her strongest supporter.

tWitch's love and guidance had a big impact on who she became. Weslie felt thankful for the life they shared and the love he had given her, and she promised to always honor his name.

What did Allison Holker say about being unaware of what Steven “tWitch” Boss went through before his death?

Weslie and her mother are hosts of the Between Us podcast. In one of the episodes from April 2025, she shared that she worried her younger siblings might one day point out that she wasn’t biologically connected to Steven “tWitch” Boss.

She feared they might grow up feeling angry, not just toward him but also toward her and others who had memories with him. She said she was willing to put her own emotions aside to protect them from feeling that way.

In response, Holker reassured her that being their big sister was a special role. She acknowledged Weslie’s awareness and emotions but encouraged her not to let those fears control her life.

Holker believed the younger siblings wouldn’t feel resentment and would likely appreciate the stories Weslie shared and the love and energy she passed on from Steven “tWitch” Boss. Allison sat down with Today in 2023, where she reflected on Steven’s death, saying:

“I still feel like the rest of the world where I am still shocked. No one is ready for that moment and there is no one that saw this coming. No one. And that also breaks my heart, too. But I feel so sad that he was still there and we weren’t in the knowing.”

Allison Holker said Steven “tWitch” Boss often tried to be strong for everyone around. She mentioned that people often asked if there were any warning signs, but he was always full of love and positivity. He wanted to be like a superhero for others and often said that he could carry a lot for those he cared about.
