Lil Eazy-E was 10 years old when his father died of HIV/AIDS in 1995. He was mostly raised by his grandmother. While speaking to TMZ in an article published on May 13, Eazy-E mentioned that he wants to use AI to recreate his late father's voice.

Eazy can be heard saying:

"I have something special that I'm doing. I actually just got a sample of (Eazy-E) talking to me. It kinda made my mind go another route of the possibilities and the things you can do with AI. That's where this world is going to. You can't close your eyes and ears to new technology. I look at it as doing something special movie wise. I look at it as doing something special audio wise."

He then revealed information about his future project, where he aims to use an AI model to tell both his fathers and his life story in a parallel universe:

"I have a project that I've been dreaming about doing and it simultaenously tells you the story of his life and my life. So, I want those times to where I can look back or have that individual talk to me and kinda guide me, and AI would be the best way of doing that."

The singer also added that he's partnered with The Ace Industries in Las Vegas to work on the project, and the organization has "sent me a couple of samples, and it was touching, he was actually talking to me."

Lil Eazy-E's father, Eric Lynn Wright, or professionally known by his stage name, Eazy-E, was a rap legend who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap, and led the group, N.W.A.

"It didn't hit me" - Lil Eazy-E looks back at his father's funeral

Lil Eazy-E's recent interaction with TMZ isn't the first time the rapper opened up about his father's death. In September 2022, while speaking to HipHopDX, Lil Eazy-E opened up about returning to his home and looking at old family photos.

The rapper, who was 10 at the time of his father's death, did not cry at the funeral since it "didn't hit" him:

"It's just different. For example, I'll let you know a little something of the funeral - I didn't cry. You know what I mean? It was more shocking because you had these thousands of people around. It's like, 'Whoa, what's going on?' It didn't hit me until you get actually home and get your own privaly like, 'Wow, my father's gone."

The rapper also mentioned that he didn't have the "time" to cry when hundreds of people were coming up to him and talking about his father at the Herman Memorial.
