On June 11, BTS' Jungkook and Jimin officially wrapped up their mandatory military service in South Korea. The two BTS idols were warmly welcomed with bouquets. During their discharge, Jungkook gave a short speech on camera. He expressed gratitude for those who looked after him.
The SEVEN singer appreciated the efforts made by his seniors, juniors, and executives who have been working hard for the group.
"It's been so long since I've been in front of the camera, I'm embarrassed. I don't know what to say," and "Seniors, juniors..and executives who have worked harder than anyone else, thank you for working hard for us. I'm so grateful for taking such good care of us." Jungkook said.

A few hours following their release, Jk and Jimin went live on Weverse and delighted their fans. The duo interacted with their fans in their military uniforms. During a livestream, BTS' Jungkook praised Jimin, calling him the ace.
“Jimin was the Ace. There was nothing he couldn't do.” BTS' Jungkook said.
The duo also clicked selfies at the BTS FESTA Booth in their uniforms following their return, which went viral online.
In addition to Jungkook, Park Jimin also delivered a brief address on camera upon his military discharge. He expressed gratitude to the ARMY and all others who demonstrated their affection and support for the organization. He stressed the backing of the group's supporters since COVID and stated that the band will now resume its operations following a long hiatus.
"Thank you for coming to see us from far away. ARMY, it's been quite a long time from COVID to the military, so thank you for waiting. Now that I've been discharged, I think we can continue to draw the picture we've been drawing. We will prepare and show you an even better image." Jimin said.
He went on to discuss his military experience. The WHO maker found the training both simple and challenging. He stated that he learned a lot and made many wonderful memories during his military time. The idol said that it was his first time working with soldiers, and that it was not an easy environment.
In related news, Kim Taehyung and Kim Namjoon also completed their military terms on June 10, 2025. They were also discharged together and received a warm welcome from their fans. Upon release, RM impressed his fans by playing saxophone, as he had earlier done during Jin’s military discharge.
