Australian singer Kylie Minogue has taken a step back from her Tension Tour. The shows, which were scheduled in Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, and Germany, had to be postponed due to the singer’s health issue. On June 13, 2025, she shared a statement on her X, writing:

“As some of you may know, a week ago we finished the UK leg of The Tension Tour. I made it over the finish line (Yay) but unfortunately have succumbed to a viral infection (Hello laryngitis)”

Her statement continued:

“I've tried my best to recover fast to start our next run of shows on Monday but I'm afraid it will take me some days to be well enough to get back on stage and perform my best for you.”

Kylie Minogue apologized and explained that she had to delay her upcoming shows in Berlin, Łódź, Kaunas, and Tallinn. She asked fans to retain their tickets, as her team was working to reschedule the performances.

The singer thanked everyone for understanding her situation. She expressed her love for the show and her fans. Although she said she would miss them, she couldn’t wait to see them again.

According to The Sun, Kylie Minogue has already done 14 concerts in the UK. It seems most of them were scheduled at the O2 Arena in London. During one of her sets at the venue, she told the audience:

“My love for doing this only grows and grows. Thank you for understanding and being there for me on my journey. For me, it began in a mystical time known as the Eighties.”

What did Kylie Minogue say about being in her “Tension” era?

In October 2024, Kylie Minogue released her 17th studio album, Tension II. The same month, she spoke to Traci Melchor of ETalk, who asked the singer what it felt like being in her “Tension” era. Minogue shared that being in her “Tension” era felt amazing.

She reflected on how surprising it was that “Padam” had only come out almost a year ago. She said this period helped her connect with a wider audience while still being embraced by her longtime fans.

She felt that she had reached a stage in life where she better understood herself and her place in the world. She felt grateful for the journey and the music that had made such an impact. Speaking about her Tension tour, Minogue said:

“I really can't wait. There's so much to share within the show um and I'm looking forward to having a great time.”

When Traci asked how she planned to create a set list from her long list of hits, Kylie Minogue said it took a lot of thought and discussion with her team. She explained that figuring out the structure was the first big challenge, and they were still in the process of finalizing it.

While she couldn’t give any spoilers, she shared that the plan was to include songs from her Tension album, Disco, and the classic fan favorites.
