On June 2, 2025, @AboutMusicYT revealed BTS' Taehyung as the most searched male K-pop idol on Google so far in 2025. The latest achievement of the BTS idol came during his break as he served his compulsory term in the South Korean military.
Kim Taehyung, aka V, is nearing the completion of his service and return to the music world. Besides BTS’ Taehyung, BLACKPINK’s Lisa also turned out to be the most Google-searched female K-pop idol of 2025.
Fans of Tae were delighted with his new recognition. Therefore, his followers flooded social media with plaudits for the Slow Dancing idol. One of them wrote:
