Rapper Cardi B is set to rlease her second studio album, Am I the Drama?, on September 19, 2025. Ahead of release, the rapper shared a video on Instagram, saying that she launched the Court Editions of the album. She then showed the editions to her fans in a clip on her official Instagram, mentioning that they cost $9.99. She said:
“And just because I won the verdict, guess what? I still gotta pay these lawyers, so if you could donate 9.99. These would be costing 9.99. Please buy these. You know, I am a single mother of three like I swear to God, like if I don’t sell these albums, I am gonna have to like give up my Rolls Royce, give up my Lamborghini, like how am I going to live? How am I gonna take my kids to school?”
Cardi B then went out in the traffic and waved at cars to promote the Court Edition.

What did Cardi B say after the recent verdict in her case?
Cardi B was recently cleared of allegations stemming from a 2018 incident where she was accused of assaulting security personnel outside an OB/GYN office. After the verdict was announced, she addressed the reporters, saying that although she had a reputation, she was not guilty.
She thanked her lawyers, jury members, and the press for their support. The rapper added:
“And I want to thank everybody at home supporting me. I know you guys having a low key with the moment. But to be honest with you, I have missed my kids first day of school today. I missed my kids last week of school yesterday because of this.”
Cardi B went on:
“And I'm not even playing around. I will, even if I'm in my deathbed, I swear to God, I will say it in my deathbed. I did not touch that woman. I did not touch that girl. I didn't lay my hands on that girl. And with that being said, this time around, I'm going to be nice.”
She said that if anyone tried to file a frivolous lawsuit against her again, she would counter-sue them and make them pay. Cardi B explained that many people thought celebrities would give money to avoid problems, but she worked hard for her earnings and had no intention of handing it over for no reason.
