Lady Gaga officially confirmed as a guest star on Wednesday.

Little Monsters all over the world are ecstatic as Lady Gaga officially joins the cast of Wednesday season 2 as a guest star. At the streaming giant's annual Tudum live event, the first six minutes of season 2 of the Jenna Ortega-led series were shown. The much-awaited series is returning after an almost three-year wait, and fans were thrilled to see all the spookyiness that will be coming in part 1 of season 2, releasing August 6.

After that, it was announced that Lady Gaga would officially join the star-studded cast of Tim Burton's take on the gothic Addams Family. Foreseeing the bang the singer would probably create on the show, Gaga closed the event by playing popular songs like “Abracadabra,” “Zombieboy,” and “Bloody Mary,” which were also played in season 1 of the show.

This is not the first time Lady Gaga has acted in a creepy gothic show, as she was also part of American Horror Story's season 5. Adding to her acting credits, the "Born This Way" singer was also the main protagonist of Joker 2, which came out last year.

Wednesday Season 2

The new trailer/teaser that was dropped at the event not only seemed highly promising but also showed that the show has definitely upped the horror factor for this season as the first six minutes opened with Wednesday, played by Ortega, tied up in a serial killer's basement towards the end of her summer vacation.

The next scene cuts to "six weeks earlier," where Addams talks about her summer activities, including working on her psychic abilities, just like any other teenager. She further talks about how after mastering her abilities, she goes back to her main interest in life, finding the Kansas City Scalper, a serial killer.

The rest of the teaser showcases her searching for him and finally heading to Kansas with Thing, after spending a strenuous time going through Newark airport security. Until she finally locates him and, in a twist of fate, gets captured by him. Bringing us back to the opening, she is seen bound and gagged, surrounded by creepy, broken dolls. But not for long, as she breaks out with the help of Thing and leaves the Scalper whimpering in fear.

Along with the cast of Wednesday, Tudum, hosted by Sofia Carson, featured the casts of Stranger Things, Frankenstein, Happy Gilmore 2, and more of Netflix's popular TV shows and movies.
