Everything we know about Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's big day:
A source recently spoke to Us Weekly about Selena Gomez, 33, and 37-year-old Benny Blanco's forthcoming wedding:
“It will be a huge, A-list, star-studded wedding planned by Mindy Weiss,” they said. “Guests still do not know exact locations for the rehearsal or the wedding,” they added.
The source also said that Gomez's friend, Taylor Swift, and her Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short andAshley Park will also be attending, and so will Paris Hilton.
The pair announced their engagement in December 2024, having dated for a year by then. At the time, the former Disney channel actress took to Instagram to announce the happy news with the following caption:
“Forever begins now."
As for Blanco, he penned in the comments section:
“Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
Money Control has reported that guests have already begun arriving at the oasis-like location. They are being set up at the El Encanto Hotel, which Selena Gomez and her beau have reportedly booked out for their big day. Rooms reportedly range from $1,500 to $3,500 per night.
“It’s a very private affair,” a source told TMZ.
The outlet has also reported that the wedding will honor the Mexican and Jewish heritages of both Gomez and Blanco, respectively. Snoop Dogg, who worked with the latter on the 2022 track Bad Decisions, is rumored to serve as host for the reception that follows.
Earlier this year, Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez made an appearance on Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware in April. At the time, the latter said she wanted to skip out on the first dance tradition on their big day.
"I don’t think we’re looking at having one of those ‘cause they’re a little—I feel embarrassed," she said. Blanco added, "She's shy."
