IU is melting hearts again, not just with her voice but with her kindness. During her two-day fan meetup concert, "Bye, Summer," on Sept. 13 and 14, the songstress approached the seating area designed for wheelchair users.
Under the video that shows the singer's gesture, praise for the singer-actress erupted, with online users highlighting the moment IU enthusiastically ambled across the KSPO Dome towards the zone to greet her fans, shake their hands, and personally thank them for attending her show.
In some instances, she even posed for a selfie and high-fived with them.
IU was also singing her hit track "I stan U," a track off her 2024 extended play The Winning.
The heartwarming scene was captured in a YouTube video by the username ForYou, which is sprawling with numerous compliments for the When Life Gives You Tangerines star.
"She's definitely an angel... that happy expression," one wrote.
"I will be IU's audience for life," another said with two purple heart emojis.
"I realized the importance of every second when I booked tickets ㅠㅠ They sold out in an instant ㅠ I was so frustrated that I was left dazed for a while ㅠ Oh my, I'm so jealous," another commented.
"I'm just crying our Angel.....how she paid attention to each person with disabilities on both days...can you imagine how happy they are our Businka is the best! I love her," one fan gushed.

"This fan meeting event was... It was the love that IU gave to Yuaena. The way each and every fan looked into each other's eyes and looked at each other like this and were happy... Haa, it's really so touching. I will love you forever. Ji-eun," a YouTube user replied.
"You said you couldn't sleep on fan meetings or fan signing days, Jieun, our precious Jieun, who always filled us with such overwhelming love that we were dumbfounded, yet felt guilty that perhaps the magnitude of that love wasn't the same," one wrote.
IU releases new summer song, "Bye, Summer"
The fan meeting comes after IU dropped "Bye, Summer." The songstress first previewed the single through a live performance last year, but she released the official audio on Sept. 10.
The song, co-written by the songstress herself, is a goodbye to the season. The cover art also depicts the feel of summer and twilight with its blend of green, amber, and blue. It also features a girl in a white dress running towards the woods under the starlit sky.
Immediately upon its release, the single ranked No. 9 on MelOn's Top 100.
Meanwhile, aside from her recently concluded two-day fan meet, the "eight" singer has set up a pop-up store in Seoul under the name "Found at Eight," a reference to her hit 2020 single.
The seasonal shop boasts merchandise and exhibits, and will run until Sept. 21.
