Jack Osbourne is reminiscing about his dad, the late heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne's, eating habits.

During an appearance on Cooking with the Stars, which was filmed before the rocker died but aired this August 3, the 39-year-old opened up about growing up in a home where the food was often prepared by professional chefs.

"I grew up on potato waffles until we moved to America," he said, referring to the shift he, his dad, his mom Sharon, and sisters Aimee and Kelly made from England when he was 11. "We would get takeout all the time — apart from times when we had a chef."

Jack Osbourne then jokingly revealed that Ozzy never stuck to any chef for a long time because he was a "picky eater" who suddenly decided:

"'No, I don't like it anymore,' even though it's some amazing chef."

Ozzy Osbourne, best known as the co-founder and frontman of Black Sabbath, died at 76 on July 22. He shared kids Elliot, Louis, and Jessica with his ex-wife, Thelma Riley. Upon marrying Sharon Osbourne in 1982, he welcomed three more kids: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne.

His funeral was held just days ago in his native place, Birmingham, England. His wife and their three kids were seen trailing his hearse as it traversed across Broad Street in the city center. He was then laid to rest in an intimate ceremony attended by his band members, family, and friends.

As for Jack Osbourne, he has yet to address his dad's demise publicly, though his ex-wife Lisa Stelly, with whom he shares daughters Pearl, 13, Andie, 10, and Minnie, 7, took to Instagram to pay her respects.

She shared a string of throwback photos of Ozzy Osbourne with the girls over the years, while her caption read:

"The world got Ozzy. We got Papa. One of one. Larger than life. It hurts to say goodbye, but what a gift it was to have him. We will never stop missing you."

A source also told People Magazine that Ozzy Osbourne would have been honored with the way his funeral was celebrated:

"They're very grateful for the special family time they had together before Ozzy passed,” the source said last week. “They're planning a small, private funeral that will be a celebration of his life. Ozzy would never want a mope-fest.” They added that the rocker’s family is “touched by all the love and support pouring in from around the world.”
