"I think this album as a whole is about me": says Jade Thirlwall
While speaking to Kiss FM in May 2025 about what to expect of her debut album, Jade Thirlwall said,
"I think this album as a whole is about me, kind off. I wanted to literally sound like I'm finding myself and this experimentation of sounds and influences and genres."
She added,
"Why not have a chaotic first pop album? You know, and let the fans in on that experience, and it's been so fun to make, genuinely."
Elsewhere in the interview, Jade said that the album was "merging off the stuff (she) was inspired by growing up" and features a blend of Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, and Cascada.
