On June 12, 2025, South Korean media outlets reported about a female fan who tried to break into BTS' Jungkook’s house hours after his military discharge. As per reports, a 30-year-old Chinese woman was arrested.
The SEVEN singer was released from South Korean military on June 12 together with bandmate Jimin after finishing his obligatory service.
The recent occurrence raised concerns among BTS' Jungkook followers. As a result, his followers filled the internet with posts expressing concern for their idol and rage directed at the alleged woman. One user on X commented:
“Jungkook is not public property. His privacy isn’t up for discussion. What that woman did was invasion, not love. As fans, our job isn’t to consume his every moment — it’s to protect the space he breathes in. Respect him, or leave.”
Fans seemed concerned about BTS' Jungkook’s security amid the latest incident
While some anticipated BTS' Jungkook to publicly address the issue, others emphasized that the idols are human beings, too, who value privacy in their lives.
“I hope he says something about this maybe then they’ll stop or realize that it’s not a good thing??,” a fan said.
“When he last came live showing his new house, he hoped no one would come to his house anymore. He said 'I beg you'. Can y'all just stop interfering in your idol's life. They're also human and want privacy. Put yourself in his shoes and think, I would've sued these people by now.,” another fan wrote.
“..... who... why... how??? Like. what kind of mindset do you have to be in to think this is even semi okay? That terrifies me. Because if she did manage to break in. Then what? If she is in that type of mindset. I'm so scared. Please let them be safe,” stated an admirer.
Several fans seemed terrified with the latest incident, while others claimed that he needs more security.
“i don't understand how these “fans”' brains work. do they think the idols would kiss them after seeing them trying to break into their house? who the hell do they think they are? no one wants to see your ugly, obsessive, and disgusting a**. he needs more security,” wrote another fan.
“Its the consequences of being idol, no, its the consequences of your incapable of thinking as a human being. their house supposed to be their safe place, and you broke into the house tearing their safety place. you think he owed you something? yeah he owed you a restraining order,” expressed another fan.
“There's a line no fanatic should cross, and the moment you cross it, you stop being a fanatic and become a stalker, someone who has no respect for people's lives, much less knows the boundaries of what's right and what isn't.,” stated an admirer.
BTS' Jungkook and Jimin came live for their fans
