Following months of speculation surrounding his mental health, Justin Bieber is opening up on his latest album.

The 31-year-old singer surprised fans with his seventh studio album, Swag, on Friday, July 11, and across the 21 tracks, he reflects on his mental health. In a music video for Therapy Session, the singer can be seen speaking with comedian Druski, 30, about fans thinking he is "losing his mind" because of his posts online.

"And he's like, 'Nah, I think he's just bein' a human bein', He's enjoyin' social media like the f---ing rest of us. He's just doin' it his own way," Druski said of Justin Bieber.

The dad-of-one concurred.

"And that's been a tough thing for me recently," he explained. "It's feelin' like, you know, I have had to go through a lot of my struggles as a human, as all of us do really publicly." "And so people are always askin' if I'm okay. And that starts to really weigh on mе."

Druski echoed the sentiments, comparing it to being asked why you're crying, which in turn makes someone who wasn't crying before want to tear up.

“It’s like when somebody keeps saying, ‘Why are you crying? Why are you crying?’ It’s like, ‘Bitch, I’m not! But now I am! F–k.'” Justin Bieber chimed in, "It starts to make me feel like I'm the one with issues and everyone else is perfect."

Everything we know about Justin Bieber's surprise album SWAG:

As reported by E! News, in “Glory Voice Memo,” Justin Bieber opened up about falling back on his faith to navigate some personal issues:

“I’ve been used and I’ve been beaten down,” he sings. “I been let down and strung out / Too wild when I fall down, screaming out / But I, I reach out my hands, I'm beggin’ You for mercy.”

In “Standing on Business," he and Druski acknowledged Bieber's infamous paparazzi tirade that took place earlier this year:

“I like that you pronounce ‘business,’ Druski quipped. “Usually when I say ‘standing on business,’ I say ‘standing on bih-ness.’”

Justin Bieber and his wife, Rhode founder Hailey Bieber, have been at the heart of a litany of rumors that they're marriage may be in trouble. However, the singer alluded to the same in his song “Walking Away,” where he said that they have been “testing [their] patience” while dealing with “growing pains.”

“I ain’t walking away," he vowed.

In “Devotion,” he sang:

“I'm startin’ to be open to the idea that you know me too. I like when you hold me to ya / I like when you scold me too.”

Bieber has been opening up to his fans on Instagram in the last few months. Back in March, he took to Instagram about feeling like a "fraud."

"People told me my whole life 'wow Justin u deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy," the two-time Grammy winner wrote at the time. "Like I was a fraud, Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, Damn if only they knew my thoughts."

As reported by People Magazine, about two weeks later, he came clean about trying to work on his "anger issues."

"I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh 🤦‍♂️," he wrote on Instagram.

Page Six has also reported that the singer slammed the idea that he has been abusing substances. His reps referred to this claim as a “negative, salacious, harmful narrative.”

A source previously told People Magazine that Justin Bieber's new album is a shift in the genre's he typically sticks to:

"It’s darker, more vulnerable and less polished," the source said. "It’s in no way depressing though." They added that "fans are in for a genre shift" and the album would be "much deeper."

SWAG features guest appearances from Gunna, Sexxy Red, Cash Cobain, Lil B, and Eddie Benjamin.
