JTBC Entertainment News, a Korean news portal, says that BLACKPINK will get back together in July 2025. JTBC spoke to people in the business who said that the four members of the group—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—had completed shooting their new music video. The song is expected to come out in the first week of July.

YG Entertainment, the group's agency, hasn't said whether or not a precise release date is set. They have promised to provide more details later via the proper marketing plan.

Born Pink, BLACKPINK's second studio album, was released in September 2022 and was their final full-group effort. Everyone has gone their way since then.

BLACKPINK is reportedly set for their comeback in July 2025

With Jennie releasing her first solo album, Ruby, in March 2025, Rosé going on a worldwide tour, Jisoo trying her hand at acting, and Lisa keeping up with her global sponsorship deals and solo albums.

According to insiders, the group enlisted the help of a renowned filmmaker, renowned for producing lavish K-pop videos, and filming for the music video started on June 6, 2025. "We will notify you through the group's official promotion schedule," was the official statement from the label, even though YG confirmed the MV filming.

The timing of BLACKPINK's comeback could not be better. Their Deadline World Tour starts at Goyang Stadium on July 5-6, 2025. The band will go on a 31-city world tour in Asia, Europe, and North America after their first full-group performance in over two years at the stadium shows.

The BLINKs, the group's global fanbase, reacted online with a mix of excitement and disappointment. Some have expressed their joy at the return's impending arrival, while others have criticized YG Entertainment for their prolonged silence and lack of promotional buildup.

Because BLACKPINK's reappearance coincides with their worldwide tour, YG Entertainment will benefit the most from the fans' excitement for both the concert and the digital material they consume.

The four people and their agency are about to have a big change. BLACKPINK, who had been gone from group activities for more than three years, is set to come back in early July.

People who work in the industry have hinted at high-quality graphics, synergies with tours in other countries, and a planned marketing push, all of which have set the stage for one of the most anticipated K-pop comebacks of 2025.
