Megastar Katy Perry surprised her fans when she showed up at a gay nightclub called Poof Doof in Australia.

The singer, who was in town to conclude the Melbourne leg of her tour in Australia, surprised fans at the LGBTQIA+ club hours after she wrapped up her fourth and final performance for her Lifetimes Tour at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday night for a sold-out venue.

The venue, located at Chasers Nightclub on Chapel Street, South Yarra, had its afterparty dubbed Club Katy for the night in honor of the songstress. She was seen mingling with partygoers, watching a drag performance, and singing karaoke from behind the bar. At one point, Katy Perry even told the fans that drinks are on her, as seen in videos circulating online.

“You guys raised me. I thank you and I love you, you are my chosen family," she can be heard saying. “Because you are my chosen family, a mother must provide for her children,” she added. “So as a provider, I would like to open the bar for one hour. The drinks are on me, baby!” she exclaimed as the DJ saw it as their cue to blast her hit single Firework.

Katy Perry will now hit the road across Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide to see through her Australia tour. She also recently performed three sold-out shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena after having flown in to the continent earlier this month.

Just last week, one of her shows went viral when a man, who has since been identified as Johnson Wen, disrupted her performance by joining her onstage. Wen is a "serial prankster" known for sharing videos of himself invading stages.

“There’s never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it!” Katy Perry told the crowd at the time.

In another one of her performances, Katy Perry told her fans:

“I’m obsessed with you, Australia. You know that, right? There’s something in your water, something that keeps you so grounded and so chill. You understand that life is a game and you don’t have to be so friggin’ serious about everything. You guys get it. You get it, Australia.”

According to The Music, a local outlet, the prankster was later taken to the Auburn police station, where he was booked and charged with

“entering enclosed land and obstructing a person in performance of work or duties.”

He is expected to face court later this week and was recently granted bail. The Sydney Olympic Park precinct has also penalized him with a six-month ban.

In other news, the I Kissed A Girl singer's appearance at Poof Doof came amid rumors that she and fiancé Orlando Bloom may be on the outs, as she has been spotted in recent times without her eye-catching ruby engagement ring. The pair have been engaged since 2019, and share a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, 4.

The mother-daughter duo were spotted at the Luna Park on June 8, both of whom were clad in matching teddy bear onesies. They were seen getting on the famed Wild Mouse rollercoaster. However, Orlando Bloom, a seasoned actor, was nowhere to be found.

According to The Mirror, during one of her recent shows, she also passed a cryptic remark about performing a 'breakup song' for her audience. Just last week, sources claimed that the pair had "quietly ended their engagement" but are waiting to break the news until Katy Perry finishes her tour by the end of this year.

At the time of writing, neither of the two have confirmed the news, though insiders told The Mirror that they are going through "a rough patch" and are trying to fix things before it goes awry.

"There aren't many people she can dump her emotions on, but obviously she can with Orlando. But with his work and juggling parenting, life as of late has put a strain on their relationship," an insider told the outlet.

Another source told the Daily Mail, however, that "it's not at the point of no return."

"They know they must fix things, and they both want to figure it out. They haven't been able to sit down and work on some of their issues. A breakup isn't imminent, but they both know that they should focus on their relationship before it does become too late."

Katy Perry's tour will see her show up at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on June 17th and 18th, after which she will make her way to Perth’s RAC Arena on June 22nd and 23rd. She'll wrap up her Australian leg with four shows at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, beginning on June 26th and ending on June 30th.
