“King behavior only”: Netizens admire BTS' Jin as he attends special lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building for his second solo album ‘ECHO’

BTS' Jin recently won hearts of his fans when he made an appearance for the special lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building in NYC. The BTS idol attended a special lighting ceremony in New York to celebrate his second solo mini album ECHO. Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, dropped his new album ECHO on May 16, 2025.

The iconic Empire State Building glowed in blue (hope), pink (love), yellow (joy), and white (new beginnings) — the symbolic shades of his album.

Besides the lighting ceremony, the idol also impressed his fans with a live performance of his album’s track Don’t Say You Love Me, at the scene. Jin wore an all black blazer by Simone Rocha Embellished Double Carnation Jacket ($2,700) with Fred Jewelry pieces including Force 10 Necklace, bracelet, and ring.

Fans of BTS' Jin were impressed with his latest recognition as well as his look for the ceremony. As a result, fans inundated the internet with their appreciation for the idol. One user on X stated:

Several fans praised Kim Seokjin’s look for the event in NYC. While some said he looked handsome, others admired him as beautiful. Other fans seemed proud of Jin.
