On July 14, 2025, BTS' Jungkook unexpectedly surprised his fans with an unexpected solo livestream on Weverse. The most recent live conversation marked his inaugural engagement following his military discharge on June 11.

Jungkook’s livestream attracted over 10.9 million cumulative viewers, setting a new record for 2025. Earlier, in 2024, the idol created a record for the most-viewed Individual live in real time on Weverse with over 20.2 million viewers.

Fans of the BTS idol were thrilled to see him set a new record, and they flooded social media with their appreciation for him. One of them on X commented:

Many other fans gave their reactions to Jk new livestream record. While some claimed him to be the biggest artist of the decade, others hailed BTS' Jungkook’s star power and charm.

In an around two-hour-long stream, BTS' Jungkook also celebrated the second anniversary of his immensely popular solo track, “SEVEN,” which debuted on July 14, 2023. He also sang many other songs, including Bruno Mars’ ‘When I was your man,’ Park Hyo-shin’s ‘HERO,’ Car The Garden’s ‘Tree,’ and more.

In related developments, Jeon Jungkook recently traveled to the United States alongside his teammates Jimin and SUGA. According to reports, BTS members will meet in the United States to work on their future album.
