Lorrie Morgan has announced the death of her husband, Randy White, after a year-long battle with mouth cancer, taking him from this world at the age of 72. Randy had been an unwavering pillar of support throughout Morgan's ups and downs in life amid her career in the spotlight. Morgan's manager, Tony Conway, released the statement in her stead, in which she honored his memory:

"Randy has been my partner and my rock for 17 years. Our big, wonderful family and I are devastated at the loss of this truly kind and incredible man. I was blessed by his love. Ran-Ran, I will love and miss you forever."

Randy White received an initial diagnosis back in April 2024 and had been battling mouth cancer since. Amid his worsening health, Morgan had reportedly even canceled her scheduled performances earlier this year to focus entirely on his care. The couple had been married for the past 15 years, and the family’s grief at Randy's untimely death was palpable in their public statements, with Lorrie Morgan’s son Jesse Keith Whitley also posting a touching message on social media.

"As I sit here in the room with hospice, I don’t know really what to think or to say about this situation. But, I can say that the recent years of my life all the way back to when I was 22-23 years old this great man has been here and loved my mom, and also me & my sister as [though] we were his own. We will miss you always and forever and our hearts are shattered in losing you. But you have fought one helluva fight RanMan!”
