Machine Gun Kelly's daughter, Casie Colson Baker, gets candid about her dad and their relationship.

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly's 15-year-old daughter, Casie, just made a rare public appearance where she accompanied her dad at this year's Kids' Choice Awards, and according to her, he is one of the “best” dads out there.

Swaggering down the carpet, MGK's eldest daughter told The Mirror US exclusively what made her dad special and why he is truly one of the top fathers. In the interview, she revealed that the best part about being a rapper, actor, and rockstar father is having opportunities and enjoying certain perks.

She expressed, "It’s very nice being able to listen to every new unreleased music,” and Casie explained how he gives her “a lot of good advice because he’s been through a lot of wise years.”
"He’s more like a hype man, though," she added.

But that was not all, as the rapper also reciprocated her feelings and said,

“I got my best friend and my life. [Casie] is so wise, and honestly, she’s just better than me.” The Bad Things singer, who has often talked about how close he is to his daughter, further added, “She is better than me in all the ways. And I’m lucky I have someone to learn from.”

Casie Colson Baker, who was born on July 24, 2009, is MGK and Emma Cannon's only daughter and was given her dad's name, Colson Baker. Throughout the years, he has shown glimpses of her life and how much she has impacted him, in life and in creativity.

On The Drew Barrymore Show in December 2021, he talks about her optimistic mindset and childlike innocence,

"I was just walking behind my daughter in the airport the other day and she just has this walk, it's this pure bounce, she's so excited for life like she's so young in her life. I've experienced so much in my life. I just pray to every God that exists that she just keeps that bounce forever and that no one interferes with that."
He further added, "I will take any amount of torture that would come her way if it can just be on me so that she can keep that forever because it's worth living for to see that. Her voice is so sweet and it's not tainted with what the world has to offer."

And it's this mindset because of which Machine Gun Kelly decided to get sober. Kelly credits his daughter for getting him sober, as he said on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

"It started with my daughter saying, 'Dad, you know I can tell when you're high?' It broke my heart. It was the ultimate letdown."

He has now reportedly been sober for more than 365 days.

Machine Gun Kelly also shares another daughter with ex-fiancée Megan Fox, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, who was welcomed in March this year.
