BTS' Jimin made another record as the only K-pop male solo artist to earn a nomination in MTV VMAs 2025. The BTS idol has been nominated in the ‘Best K-pop’ category for his 2024 hit track WHO.
The nominated track was released as the part of Park Jimin’s second solo record MUSE that was launched on July 19, 2024, when the K-pop idol was serving his obligated military term in South Korea.
The latest nomination marked BTS' Jimin’s first in MTV VMAs. Fans of the male idol were overjoyed to know about his nomination. Therefore, fans flooded the internet with their love and appreciation for him. One of his followers on X said:

While many said they are proud of the BTS idol’s new nomination, others commended him as King.

In the ‘Best K-pop’ category, Jimin has been nominated along with BLACKPINK members, namely Rosé, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa, for their respective solo works.
K-pop groups, notably Aespa and Stray Kids, also made their way to the VMAs 2025 nominees list.
