Meghan Trainor is deciding to take the latest comments about her appearance in stride. This comes after the “Mother” singer participated in the viral ‘Nicki Minaj Challenge’ on TikTok, which involves showing off balance using various objects as props while wearing stilettos.

Trainor did her version of the challenge while in the gym and chose to balance on top of a set of dumbbells with one foot. She selected to wear running shoes instead of heels. Instead of receiving comments about her take on the challenge, Meghan Trainor’s comments section turned into a referendum on her looks and dramatic weight loss, with users calling the singer 'unrecognizable.'

In response to the backlash, Meghan Trainor uploaded another video to TikTok where she was lip-syncing to audio originally by Megan Thee Stallion. It's clear that this was a tongue-in-cheek response to the chatter about her online.

“I don’t care if these b*tches don’t like me. ‘Cuz like I’m pretty as f---. Just the other day, I heard a h** say, matter of fact what could a h** say with a face like this and b*tch this paid.”

Meghan Trainor’s biggest detractors claim that her weight loss is due to her use of GLP-1, or Mounjaro, an Ozempic alternative, and not the healthy lifestyle she projects.

Meghan Trainer opens up on weight loss journey

Meghan Trainor has been open about her struggles with body image issues for quite some time now. At this year’s Billboard's Women in Music Awards, she spoke about how she was prioritizing her health, especially after welcoming her second child into the world.

"I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,” she said. "Yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great."

Meghan Trainor is married to actor Daryl Sabara, best known for his portrayal of Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids franchise. The pair are both outspoken about their use of Mounjaro, though in an appearance on her husband’s Workin’ On It podcast, she made sure to stress the importance of a healthy overall lifestyle to support the benefits they receive from GLP-1.

“We were like, ‘We have to make sure we don’t lose muscle that we worked so hard gaining all those years,’” she said. “We stay in the gym, we work out, we eat right, and we just noticed that we were less hungry.”

Trainor seems to have found a sustainable balance for herself, which is good news.
