Morgan Wallen, country singer, stunned everyone when he walked out to Lil Wayne and Rick Ross' unreleased version of Miami during his concert in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium on 11 July 2025.

After walking to the banger he had just created with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, they had successfully blended country and old school hip-hop, which was well received by fans. He stopped midway during his performance to address the audience and said:

“On that walkout right there, I have to say, shoutout to Lil Wayne and to Rick Ross for hopping on that. I need to figure out when to drop that,”to which the stadium exploded with cheers and applause.

The surprise walkout was Wallen's expanding influence outside of country music circles, in addition to a change in style. The people went crazy on social media, adding snippets of his walkout where they all praised this version.

After the concert, Morgan then dropped a snippet of Lil Wayne's verse on his Instagram to take the hype further. Wayne can be heard on the verse saying:

“Me and Trina almost got married.”

This one single verse shows Lil Wayne's signature storytelling style.

Fans are now getting excited for the full version release of the song. The song's original version, Miami, was from Wallen's I’m The Problem album. He had already teased his remix plans on Theo Von's podcast after he had informed that BigXthaPlug's verse was left off of the final album cut. The latest version now includes Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.

As previously reported by The New York Times, Miami was "begging for a Rick Ross remix," and Morgan Wallen has delivered.

Wallen is known for his style of fusing country and old school hip hop. His previous collaborations include a guest verse on MoneyBagg Yo's WHISKEY WHISKEY and two songs with Lil Durk, and now, with the soon-to-be-released version of Miami, he continues this trend.

Fans are hopeful that Wallen will release the entire version of the remix or at least give fans another sneak peek during his next tour stops in Tampa and Charlotte.

It is unclear if the Miami remix will be released as a stand-alone song or as a part of an expanded I'm the Problem album, but one thing is certain: Morgan Wallen's crossover success is still going strong.
