"My bias is RM" : GOT7's Jackson Wang reveals BTS' Namjoon as his bias in recent interview

Jackson Wang reveals who his bias is in BTS.

In a recent exclusive interview with India Today, KPOP idol Jackson Wang talked about Magic Man 2, Love and Trust, bond with RM, Diljit Dosanjh and more. In exciting news for BTS as well as Jackson fans, he also revealed that he is a big ARMY (BTS fandom name). Not only that, the GOT7 member boldly stated that RM or Namjoon is his bias or favourite member out of the seven BTS idols.

“I am an ARMY. No honestly, I am an ARMY. But I love and my bias is RM.”

This might not have been a big revelation for the fans, though, as over the years, the two groups, as well as the duo, have had quite a lot of interactions, being from the same industry and backgrounds. Recently, Namjoon, along with a few other members, finished their mandatory military service. Returning from this, RM shared his struggles with the fandom.

Althrough days of fatigue & sleepless nights, through incomprehensible people and thoughts that cling like tails— I’ll push through all those obstacles once more, & venture bravely into the tomorrow. At every overwhelming crossroads, it’s because of you that I endured, because of you that I moved forward. I’m grateful, so grateful. When I try to keep it short, it always ends up long. Guess I’m still too young & immature to be concise. But talkativeness is also proof of clumsy love, so please look on it kindly."

Wang also talked about his friends candidness and struggles with his mental health. In return, the "Blow" singer shared his own powerful message.

“I feel like a lot of the time if you think too much, you're trying to balance everything out, then you can't do anything right. If people have different perspectives right there, if you're being as honest with your work and music and your output, I think people will feel that feeling but in another aspect. They will have their own version of that. But for the ones that can't relate, well too bad, you can't relate! We can't think too much. Just simplify everything and just be yourself.”

Both fandoms seemed overjoyed over Jackson Wang's feelings towards the BTS rapper, hoping for a collab in the future.

One army jokingly said, "Same Jackson same. We got good taste. I don't really know a lot about Jackson but he seems like a sincere person, which is rare. Him & My Joonie been friends for a long time"

This isn't the first time Jackson Wang has come to promote in India, as the Chinese origin singer was also one of the main acts at Lollapalooza India in 2023.
