Chrisean Rock said one could still follow the lord by being a gangster

In the video, Chrisean Rock shared that creating gospel music had been a healing experience for her, helping her feel uplifted and positive. On March 30, 2025, she introduced her gospel single, Yahweh, with a performance at Faith City Central Church in Maryland.

Chrisean Rock also sat down with Pastor Mike Freeman, with whom she shared her journey to coming so far. Talking about people who hold value to her, she said:

“Anybody that people that I Inspire or want to become like I don't know not become but like okay I may fighting I made clubbing I made fun look like fun but it wasn't fun it was was a trap it was deception.”

She was also accompanied by her son, Chrisean Jesus, during her performance. Rock went on:

“That's not even the word. Like that's not even the truth or the light like. What was you should still be Gangsta and still follow God. Like you know he's very peaceful Jesus is he still flipped tables.”

Elsewhere during her conversation, Chrisean Rock reflected that she could have handled a past situation differently by relying more on her faith, which might have led to a better outcome.

She believed that what people focus on shapes who they become and felt she should have ignored certain things while staying true to herself. Chrisean Rock also mentioned that although others influenced her life, she wished she had been a more positive influence on those who affected her.
