BTS' Jungkook created a new record on Spotify with his huge number of followers. The "Standing Next To You" idol hit 18 million followers on the music streaming app. With the latest milestone, maknae joined the ranks of his bandmates Kim Taehyung and j-hope, becoming the third Asian soloist to hit the number in just three years.
He also became the fastest K-pop soloist to earn these followers in just three years. BTS’ Jungkook made this record shortly after his military discharge on June 11, 2025.

Several fans seemed impressed with BTS' Jungkook’s new record. While most congratulated maknae, others dubbed him the main pop boy.

“Not Kpop, Not Asian Male Or Female but whole Asian Act. Congratulations Jungkook,” commented an admirer.

Some highlighted how Jungkook has been trampling over other K-pop records, while other fans said the idol is always at the top of his game. Another fan claimed that the youngest member of BTS is the king of K-pop.

Jeon Jungkook has released only one solo album so far
BTS' Jungkook has been breaking records even after releasing only one solo record. His album, GOLDEN, came out on November 3, 2023. The album had eleven tracks, all of which were loved by his fans globally. BIGHIT Music described the concept of GOLDEN as:

In related news, Jungkook recently created his own Instagram account once again after saying goodbye to the platform two years ago. The idol gained over 6.5 million within 24 hours, and as of this writing, he has over 9 million followers on Instagram.
