BTS' Jimin’s solo career has seen many major milestones so far.

Most recently, the idol’s solo track WHO created a new record after it surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify. With this feat, WHO became the fastest song by a K-pop act as well as the fastest Asian song in history to achieve this. It also emerged as the second fastest male song worldwide to exceed 2 billion streams.

In addition to this, WHO turned out to be the sixth fastest song overall in history and the fourth fastest 2024 track across the globe. It is also the only 2024 release by an Asian male to cross 2 billion on Spotify.

Fans of Jimin were overjoyed to see his independent song’s new achievement. Therefore, they filled the social media with their appreciation for the BTS singer.

Park Jimin’s WHO belongs to his second album MUSE

BTS' Jimin’s second solo album after FACE (2023) was titled MUSE. This album was dropped by the artist’s agency BIGHIT when he was fulfilling his mandatory duties in the South Korean military. The album was pre-recorded, and it was released on July 19, 2024. BIGHIT described the album as:

"Jimin of 21st century pop icons BTS is set to release his second solo album MUSE on July 19, 2024. While FACE delved into confronting one’s inner self, through MUSE, Jimin candidly shares the stories he wished to convey while portraying his journey of finding inspiration from his surroundings."

WHO was one of MUSE’s seven tracks. Other songs include Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson), Be Mine, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), and Closer Than This.
