On July 9, 2025, BTS' Jimin took to the South Korean social media app Weverse to wish his fans ARMY day. Along with his warm wishes to his fans, the BTS idol also shared his selfie, apparently from a recording studio. On July 9, 2013, the fandom was officially named ARMY; therefore, fans across the world mark this day as ARMY Day.

“ARMY’s birthday. Happy birthday. I love you. I’ll work hard and come back to you!!,” Jimin wrote in a Weverse post.

For those unaware, BTS' Jimin recently flew to the US along with his group members, notably SUGA and Jungkook, reportedly to work on their new music project. Therefore, fans were thrilled to see BTS’ Jimin in the recording studio. This led to fans flooding the internet with their enthusiasm for the group’s return after a long break due to military service. One of them on X wrote:

“Omg recording already! that means we'll have new music soon can't wait!”

Many other fans gave their mixed reactions to Jimin’s latest selfie. While some dubbed him as the most thoughtful human for sending birthday wishes to ARMYs, others speculated that BTS' Jimin is cooking something.

“Jimin calling it “ARMY’s birthday”?? I’m actually sobbing. He’s the most thoughtful human ever.,” another fan wrote.

Some fans stated that the masterpieces are being recorded in the studio, while others said that the band’s music would be different, knowing that they recorded on ARMY’s birthday. Another fan suggested that Jimin or Jungkook may be preparing for a tour as a subunit.

BTS' Jimin went to the US for future music projects

On July 7, 2025, BTS' Jimin flew to the United States with his bandmates, including Agust D and Jungkook. Jimin wore Dior from head to toe at the airport. The idol represents the fashion label as its global brand representative.

Jimin's airport outfit had already become popular on social media, but the star amplified the hype with his latest Weverse update. Park Jimin alerted his admirers about his safe flight to the United States using the South Korean social networking app Weverse.

Korean media houses reported that the boy band will rejoin in the United States to work on their new album. According to sources, BTS will not return home for two months while working on their recording project.
