BLACKPINK created buzz with their latest milestone. The four-member girl group became the first musical act in history to surpass 99 million subscribers on YouTube. They established their account on YouTube in 2016. The quartet reached a new feat on YouTube without releasing any new album in the past few years. They dropped their last album, Born Pink, in 2022.

Fans of the girl group were overjoyed with their latest milestone. Consequently, fans flooded the internet with their appreciation for the group. One of their fans emphasized how the group achieved the new feat without any new album in years.

Fans rejoice as BLACKPINK exceed 99 million subscribers on YouTube

One of the group’s fans said that they have consolidated their place in music history.

“To think that nearly 100 million people chose to hit subscribe for their music, visuals, and energy is staggering. Whatever anyone thinks of K-pop, BLACKPINK’s dominance is now firmly cemented in music history.”

BLACKPINK members released their solo works in past few years

The four members, Lisa, Rosé, Jisoo, and Jennie, have lately worked on their solo projects. In February this year, Lisa and Jisoo dropped their independent albums, Alter Ego and AMORTAGE, respectively. Jennie, on the other hand, came out with her album Ruby in March.

Lastly, Rosé dropped her first standalone record, titled rosie, in December last year. The solo albums of all members have recorded chart-topping success. Following the launch of their solo albums, they reunited for a world tour, alongside releasing their new single JUMP. The group’s comeback song was released on July 11, 2025.
