Beyonce's proud mother, Tina Knowles in an Instagram post, revealed her favourite part of the Cowboy Carter tour opening night. Beyonce began her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter tour on April 28 at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles. The tour is scheduled to wrap up by July 26, and includes several concerts across North America and Europe.
Tina Knowles posted a picture of Beyoncé embracing her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, who joined their mother on stage, while she had a microphone in her hand. In the caption, Tina Knowles revealed why it's her favorite moment,
"Oh my God this moment!! The tears, the love the protection. It's one of my favorite songs on the record. Because it talks about allowing your children to grow and to shine on their own, but still being a protector."
The artist was singing Protector from her Grammy-winning album, Cowboy Carter, at the time when Rumi jumped up and down while waving to the audience. Knowles introduced her youngest daughter to the audience, saying,
"Give it up for Rumi, y'all."
Her elder daughter, Blue Ivy, danced in several of the routines, including America Has a Problem, Foundation, Deja Vu, and more.
Tina's post comes days after she released her memoir, Matriarch, which talks about how she raised her daughters, Beyoncé and Solange.
