More about Olivia Rodrigo's sweet gesture, as the guitarist reveals that she pays for their therapy sessions

Guitarist Daisy Spencer, who appeared on the "The StageLeft" podcast on 30 June, praised Olivia Rodrigo for her thoughtful initiative for all her band members. During the conversation, she said that this was such a cool initiative, as therapy is generally expensive. She said:

"Honestly, that was one of the coolest things that has ever happened on tour. Like seriously, one of the best things you can give to people is accessible free therapy, because it can get kind of expensive”

She added that these therapy sessions have, in a way, healed her younger self and helped her deal with everything she has been through. She said:

"I'm doing baby Daisy a good justice of finally getting to hear baby Daisy's story of what they were going through when I was younger and everything."

Spencer also mentioned during her discussion that the "deja vu" singer has done something that she had never experienced before, adding that she herself has made every use of this opportunity and that these sessions reinstated the importance of therapy for her. She said:

“I have never had anything like that. And that reignited the importance of therapy to me because I had just kind of fallen off for so long, and then suddenly I had this free resource of incredible therapists, and I utilized the crap out of that.”

According to People Magazine, Olivia Rodrigo, whose father, Chris Rodrigo, is a therapist, has previously spoken about the importance of therapy in her life, adding that she has "leaned so much" through the power of therapy.

Daisy Spencer further said that these therapy sessions have been such a gift, helping her address issues from her childhood. She said:

"Its been a gift to be able to look within yourself and have someone else help you bring some stuff out of you that you might otherwise on your own not be able to get there. That's the gift that therapy has given to me, is that I am able to really flesh out some stuff from my childhood that that needed a voice."

Olivia Rodrigo was recently seen attending Wimbledon just last week with her boyfriend, Louis Partridge.
