Ed Sheeran dropped the music video starring Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor, leaving fans surprised.
Ed Sheeran released his highly anticipated eighth album, Play, on Friday, featuring viral, chart-topping songs like Azizam, Sapphire, Old Phone, and more. To celebrate, the singer unveiled the official music video for another track from the album, Camera.
Directed by Emil Nava, the video depicts the early stages of a romantic relationship and stars Fair Play and Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor. An interesting fact about the video is that it was filmed entirely on an iPhone.
The MV shows clips of the couple meeting at a restaurant for their first date, having a romantic picnic in the park, cruising on a moped, bar-hopping into the night, and even sharing the stage at one of the Shape of You singer's stadium shows. It provides a glimpse into the very private relationship he shares with his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
Ed wrote when announcing the project,
"My original Camera music video idea was using private home footage of mine and Cherry's key moments of our relationship. But as you guys know, we are an intensely private couple, and some things we wanted to keep just for us. So I recreated a few key moments of our relationship for the music video with the wonderful Phoebe Dynevor."
