On July 25, 2025, the Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton revealed its upcoming 11th studio album, titled Legends. The new album is set for release on October 17, 2025, via Sabaton’s own label, Better Noise Music. In a new social media post, Sabaton shared the concept behind Legends along with the release date and pre-order details:
“Friends, it's been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over! We're excited to reveal that our 11th studio album "Legends" is out on October 17th! Join us as we explore the extraordinary lives of those who've left a lasting mark on history, from the fearless Joan of Arc and the unstoppable Napoleon Bonaparte to the cunning Julius Caesar and the legendary swordmaster, Miyamoto Musashi.” Sabaton stated.
The latest release follows the band’s 2022 album, The War To End All Wars, and their two EPs, Stories From The Western Front and Heroes Of The Great War, which came out in 2023.
The album features a total of 11 tracks devoted to historical personalities like Joan of Arc, Napoleon, Julius Caesar, and Miyamoto Musashi. Here’s the tracklist of the album:

Sabaton will mark the album’s release with a global tour in 2025
Sabaton will support its new record with The Legendary Tour of Europe and the UK this autumn, following dates in Australia and New Zealand in September.
In conjunction with the announcement, Sabaton has released two new tracks. The Duelist is centered on the Japanese swordsman Musashi, while Lightning at the Gates focuses on the Carthaginian general Hannibal Barca.

Fans will be able to pre-order Sabaton’s Legends album in multiple formats, including digital, CD, vinyl, and a cassette tape featured in a box set.
