Sabrina Carpenter announces that a new single is on the way: Here's what we know
Read the synopsis for Adults, according to IMDb:
"A twenty-something ensemble comedy centering on codependent housemates navigating adulthood together despite their flaws."
The show has been rated 7.2/10 on the website by 1.8K users, and it stars Malik Elassal as Samir, Lucy Freyer as Billie, Jack Innanen as Paul Baker, Amita Rao as Issa, and Owen Thiele as Anton.
As for Sabrina Carpenter, she has been making strides in her own right, as she announced just recently that a new single is on the way. The two-time Grammy Award winner, whose Espresso dominated summer last year, took to X to announce in two separate posts that Manchild is forthcoming, just in time for summer.
Just nine months after she dropped her chart-topping sixth studio album, Short N’ Sweet, Carpenter uploaded a short clip of herself standing on the side of a dusty road in an attempt to hitchhike, to no avail. A truck passes by, ignoring her, causing her momentary distress before she sticks her thumb out for help again.
In the 16-second teaser clip, she can be seen wearing short denim cut-offs and a white button-down tied up to reveal her midriff, with a suitcase beside her.
“this one’s about you!! ‘Manchild’ is out this Thursday 6/5,” Sabrina Carpenter captioned one such photo of herself.
Notably, the songstress pulled a similar stunt last year with the release of Espresso. At the time, she teased fans before announcing the track, just before she went on stage for Coachella to debut it. Variety has reported that she will likely do the same during her performance at Primavera Sound in Barcelona on June 6.
As for Sabrina Carpenter's Short n’ Sweet album, it made its debut at the dominating position back in September and also recently had a deluxe reissue, which came out on Valentine's Day, not long after she nabbed her first two Grammys. It featured bonus tracks like Please Please Please (feat. Dolly Parton), 15 Minutes, Couldn’t Make It Any Harder, Busy Woman, and Bad Reviews.
