Doechii hit the All Things Go festival in New York City with more than just bars. She opened her set by rallying support for Lola Young, who collapsed earlier that night.
Stepping onto the festival stage on Saturday, Sept. 27, the pop star first addressed her fellow artist, whom she referred to as her "sister," and spoke to the crowd:
“Before we get started, though, I have a lot planned for you guys, but I want to acknowledge my sister, Lola Young. She’s an incredibly talented artist, and she wasn’t feeling well tonight."
The "This B*tch Matters" hitmaker continued:
"I’m so glad that you guys were there to support her and hold her up. Let’s wish her the best, okay, everybody? Say, we love you, Lola!”
The audience then complied and chanted back, echoing Doechii's energy. She then said:
“And I want her to hear that and I want her to feel that, okay?”
As her set progressed, Doechii delivered a strong set with her hits, such as "Nosebleeds," "Balloon," "Boom Bap," "America Has A Problem (Freestyle)," and "Denial is a River." Adding to the impact of her stage presence was the pouring rain, which the crowd took in with high energy.

Lola Young collapsed mid-performance of her 2024 track, “Conceited.” A few hours after medics carried her off stage, she reassured fans via Instagram.
“For anyone who saw my set at all things go today, i am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support Lola xxx.”
“If you have a voice, use it”: Doechii urges fans to raise awareness on Gaza genocide
Meanwhile, apart from showcasing her support for Lola Young at the All Things Go festival, Doechii also used her set to encourage fans to speak out against the genocide in Gaza. Mid-performance, the singer told the festival attendees:
"If you have a voice, use it. There are so much sh*t going on, there’s a war going on, there’s a genocide going on. Use your voice."
This isn't her first time speaking out against the Gaza genocide, as in early August, during her Osheaga Festival set in Parc Jean-Drapeau, Canada, she told the audience:
“You can’t be scared to say what matters — free Palestine!”
Her remarks drew online reactions, with many praising her for leveraging her platform to spotlight the devastation in Gaza.
"Doechii has been one of the few in the music industry speaking out on this since the start of the genocide," one said.
"Oh this must be why we’ve been seeing less of her . She probably had to stand up behind the scenes and got blackballed because i rarely see doechii now," another claimed.
"literally just saw her. amazing performer, pretty face, and a beautiful sense of morality, she’s everything," a fan wrote.
