Variety has honored Sabrina Carpenter with its "Hitmaker of the Year" title.

The singer-songwriter will be honored with the accolade at the ninth annual Hitmakers celebration, the outlet has reported. The event recognizes writers, producers, publishers, managers, and executives who contributed to making 25 of the "most-consumed" songs of the year, the outlet states.

The event, an invite-only brunch, is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, in Los Angeles. It will be hosted by TikTok and Riot Games, and the remaining laureates and further details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

However, news of the same has already found its way to X, where scores are gushing over Sabrina Carpenter and her growing list of feats. Here's how one fan reacted, for instance:

"Shocking absolutely no one — the woman’s been printing hits like they’re grocery receipts."

The comments didn't end there:

"Not that hard when there were like 5 hits in total this year," someone pointed out.
"Rightfully so. I don’t think I’ve heard a single bad Sabrina song since feather. She’s really a hit maker," another chimed in.
"Hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter has a nice ring to it," one more quipped.
"every single she dropped went viral she earned this," a fourth user opined.

See how the rest of X is reacting:

"What hits did she have… man child was a cute lil hit but what else," one user questioned.
"mother but what hits did she make this year," another echoed.
"Is this a joke? right? she has 1 hit(questionable) this year. May be variety confused 2025 with 2024," yet another noted.
"No one had a better year than Sabrina, hits on hits," one fan defended the songstress.

Scores online were visibly thrilled to see Sabrina Carpenter honored with the title, though a few did claim she released far more hits last year.

Here's everything Sabrina Carpenter has been up to in the last few months:

Sabrina Carpenter debuted her seventh studio album, Man's Best Friend, this past August. She debuted Short & Sweet last year, which nabbed two Grammy Awards. Her single Manchild debuted at the dominating position of the Billboard 200 albums chart and reportedly raked in over 180 million streams in the U.S. within a week of its release.

Just days ago, she made headlines for her debut at the Grand Ole Opry. At one point during her performance on Tuesday, October 7, she took a moment to give a shout-out to all the country singers who shaped her childhood:

"So much of making my newest album was like a pedal steel, a banjo, and a dream," she shared. "Some of my favorite artists growing up, I mean, I'm not technically a country girl 'cause I'm from Pennsylvania. So, it's not technically country, but I've seen a couple cows in the middle of the road so l just kinda took it as like, you guys are my people too," she joked. "That music inspired me and my mom raised me on, the artists that have stood right here. Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn," she continued. "Of course, my favorite, Dolly Parton."

The songstress also thanked the audience for showing up and allowing her to perform at the remarkable festival:

"If you're a fan of country music, I assume this is why you're here. I just wanna give you all my thanks because I know that you guys are very picky and I know that you don't welcome people onto your stage and into your world so easily," she explained. "But you really raised me with your music and you being fans of this music is what is continuing this legacy and allowing artists to be able to experiment and just feel inspired," Carpenter shared before adding, "It's really beautiful."

Earlier today, she echoed the sentiments of gratitude when she took to Instagram to look back on the performance, calling it a “magical night.”

“thank you to the showstopping band that accompanied me last night,” she wrote, alongside photos of herself backstage and dancing during the show. “thank you to my amazing fans who came out and for the Opry frequenters that opened me with welcome ears and hearts :’) I’m a lucky girl!”

Sheryl Crow reportedly introduced Sabrina Carpenter on stage on Tuesday night. Per Billboard, the latter also thanked the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer in her post:

“The brilliant @sherylcrow took the time to come out and introduce me and i am the biggest fan ever so that made my whole night alone if nothing else!!!” Sabrina Carpenter added.

The songstress is expected to make another debut next year as the headliner of Coachella.
