Lola Young announces new album: I’m Only F***ing Myself.

British singer-songwriter Lola Young just announced the release of her upcoming album I’m Only F***ing Myself. Though this is not her first album, her breakout song can be considered the viral song Messy from her 2024 studio album, This Wasn't Meant for You Anyway.

On her Instagram, Lola wrote about the new upcoming album saying:

“My ode to self sabotage, my chance to claw myself back from the edge of defeat.”

As part of promotions for this album, the Londoner released One Thing back in May, which peaked at No. 19 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, making it her second top 20 to date after Messy. Young has also confirmed the release of another single this week. Not Like That Anymore, will be released on Friday, June 20.

Going with her unique, bold and eccentric brand, the album cover showcases Lola with her signature oreo or skunk hair hugging her own pink inflatable doll. The singer is also making her debut Glastonbury appearance on June 27, along with other music festival appearances and a North America tour this November.

The Conceited singer also had her Coachella debut this year, like many other pop stars this year. Unfortunately, she suffered from a nerve-induced stomach bug while performing.

She joked about it in a video on Instagram, "Not me doing my first Coachella & gagging & throwing up all the way through the set," Young wrote. “It was getting real bad here guys,” she captioned with a clip of herself retching while performing.
While exiting the stage, Lola Young wrote, “Can I get a bucket please?”
However, she quickly returned. "And I’m back twerking my way through the sickness," adding, "That wouldn’t have been cute if I threw up."

Fans react to Lola Young's new album

Fans are excited to see what the young singer has to bring to the table with her upcoming album.

One user made a unique comparison, "She’s kinda the generations new P!nk when you think about it."
Another claimed, "Lola Young Summer coming."
Fans agreed, "This isn't jus summer anymore, it's lola young summer."
One person stated, "I just know theres a song with the same name on the album and I cant wait to hear it."
"This about to be the heartbreak soundtrack of the year!!" a fan claimed.
While another had a contradicting opinion, "Lola's got the right idea - self-love is where it's at."

The album is set to come out on September 19, 2025.
