Sleaford Mods are officially set to get back on the road in early 2026 with a run of UK and Ireland shows. The Nottingham-based duo comprises Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn. They will play 13 dates across February and March and wrap up with a headline slot at London's O2 Academy Brixton.

The band's latest single, Megaton, has been recently released. It is their first new track since 2023's UK Grim. Notably, £1 from every ticket sold in the UK or €1 in Ireland will be donated to War Child. This follows the duo's previous work with the charity, including donations from Megaton and previous collaborations.

Sleaford Mods took to their official Instagram page to announce the upcoming 2026 UK and Ireland run. The post read:

"UK + Eire 2026. The country's in fucking bits, so we might as well tour it. Sign up to the mailing list before midnight on Tuesday to get access to the presale. Snooze, you lose. Link in bio."

Sleaford Mods were formed in Nottingham in the mid-2000s. The duo broke through with records like Divide and Exit (2014) and Key Markets (2015). Their 2023 release, UK Grim, earned notable critical reviews. Since then, the band has mainly stayed off the road. Speaking with NME, Sleaford Mods' Williamson opened up about the time when they were creating UK Grim:

"We have had a few sessions already. Things are not so much shaping up; it takes a while to get back into the groove of it. You always go in with: ‘I wanna try this, I wanna try that.’ And you try it and it does not quite work, so eventually you go back to the formula but there is all of this subconscious change, life, I guess, that then applies itself to the formula, and it then changes. Not massively, but it shifts along. So it's like a chemistry lesson!"
